Carrier for Core Tubes

The carrier is used for convenient and safe transport of core tubes from the multicorer on deck to the laboratory. Equipped with two rubberized carrying handles and anti-slip parking feet, it is made of high quality polypropylene thermoplastic. Due to the low shear point and the concentrically aligned carrying handles should allow the samples to be carried safely even in rough seas.   We will gladly integrate your customer-specific logo into the structure upon request.   Technical specifications   Material: Polypropylene Core tube dimensions (Ø d x l): Ø 100 mm x 610 mm (others on request) Total weight (empty): 8 kg   Subject to technical changes.

Multiple Corer "MC 01-03"-Series

When undisturbed samples of the upper boundary layers between sea floor and the water column are a primary concern, the Multicorer celebrates 30 years of successful operations around the world. The traditional design is tried-and-tested and is now replaced by a newly developed generation with a more servicing-friendly design, reduced height and made entirely from V4A stainless steel. Thanks to the OktoMF system the equipment can be easily expanded to implement camera systems (with and without telemetry) and a variety of sensor systems.   As an Oktopus customer, you can specify the tube diameter, the number of tubes and the tube material for a wide range of samplers. Multiple Corer Tube Holder

The Multiple Corer core tube holder is used to hold the core tubes in the Oktopus Multicorer family. However, it is also possible to adapt it as a separate module to your own devices, individually or as a group.   As a customer, you can specify the tube diameter, the number of tubes and the tube material for a wide range of samplers. We also offer a core tube optimised for CT scanners.   In addition, a wide range of accessories such as extruders, stoppers, replacement tubes, and wearing and spare parts is available.   The following features make it comfortable to use:   - tool-free assembly and disassembly of the core tubes in seconds - clip mechanism prevents the tubes from falling out even when the holder is opened - exclusive use of stainless steel and polypropylene - ergonomic frontal access to the sample possible - quick release for Oktopus proprietary and protected locking system (this allows the holder with sample to be removed from the sampling device within one second) - reliable triggering even in adverse weather conditions Technical specifications   Nominal diving depth: Full Ocean Depth Core tube dimensions (Ø d x l): Ø 100 mm x 610 mm (others on request) Total weight (without sample): 7 kg   Subject to technical changes.
